Mom taught us how to feed her pets. First spread the hay.
Then pour the pellets.
Who needs cats or dogs anyway?
Watching the deer from the window. Sometimes they have 14 at once!
When we left I couldn't let mom go. I made her hug me tight until I let go. The kids were sad the whole way home. I asked if they were happy they got to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. They said, "No (in full pity party mode)...because then we have to leave." Isn't Heaven going to be great when we can be together forever?
This week each time my husband or kids hug me, I will hold on until THEY let go. I've done this before and the hugs are always 2 to 10 times longer. It's so sweet. Feel the LOVE!

When I pulled up your blog and there was the picture of you and Dad, it made me cry. Do you even know how lucky you are? It sounds like you do. I'm cracking up at the picture of you and Mom with James Bond. And I absolutely LOVE the dance party. Russ rocks!
Leah you are so blessed! But clearly you know that. Your dad has the kindest eyes...and your mom just oozes sweetness. I want to have that kind of relationship with my kids when they are grown up.
What a lovely post to read! You have a talent for seeing the sun!
Sean saw your picture and says you look a lot like your dad. I think you're a good mix. I really see both in you.
So fun to be so close to your parents. The time you and your family get with them is priceless!!!
Love the deer! My parents see wild turkeys.
Leah, I love how in love you are with your parents. It is awesome. What wonderful examples they are for you and your children.
