Caught a bit of the Whitney Houston interview today. She said she has traveled the world, had fame and fortune, but the thing she longed for and wanted MOST was something I have every day. She wanted to wake up with her daughter. See her off to school. Be there when she came home from school each day.
I have this life! I am SO blessed beyond words!!! I get to soak in moments like today when I caught Ava with 6 dum dums in her mouth, and 7 in the other hand. She was sucking on each fist full of lollipops going back and forth. It was such a darling sight. I didn't take them away (Russ, forget you just read that!!!!) because I was quite impressed with her ambition, really. So instead she shared an already sucked on dum dum with me bringing her total down to 12. That was good enough. ;)

Oh Leah, I LOVE it! What a great perspective. We do live lives to be envied :)
Love that Ava too!
Leah, Every time I read your blog I drink from the sweet cup that is always half full. You are an amazing person and I feel blessed to know you, to call you sister, to call you friend. I don't know how you do all that you do, how you have all the fun that you have. But you inspire me. You are a gifted blogger (photographer, writer, capturing lifes moments and sharing them with others). My heart and mind take a fun vacation every time I pull up your blog. I was thrilled to see that you had already written five posts this month. It was like five servings of my favorite dessert!
