Money Bags

Who makes HOME MADE doughnuts???  I mean...really.  Who does that?  My Mom!!!
Better than Krispy Kreme.   Hot and fresh.  I'm sorry to my grandkids in advance.  I will never be as amazing of a Grandmother as my Mom is.

My favorite highlights from Spring Break besides the doughnuts...Mom and Dad dancing to Just Dance 2 on Wii.  Seriously...they were smiling and laughing and making funny faces the whole time while totally jamming.  They were acting like kids and I was in heaven watching.  Mom was especially into it with her facial expressions matching all her moves.

Ava turned 5 and we celebrated with a cake that is shaped like a skirt that Sarah and Alyssa decorated...
Alyssa made her a super sweet 2 sided poster that told her how special she was with pics of her growing up.
She wanted princess fingernails for her bday.
Chad insists on bringing ALLLLL of his guns.  The stuff he packs for Mom and Dad's takes up the whole trunk!

My kids were totally bummed when we had to leave Mom and Dad's.  I mean...there is free flowing candy, movie popcorn, wild turkeys, deer, racoons, ducks, video games, nature, crafts, baking, dancing, movie theater, games, love and laughter.  They kept asking to go back!

A couple days later we packed a week of fun into one marathon fun day when the sun FINALLY came out!!!!  We hiked Tubbs Hill, fed the birds at the lake, flew a kite, ate at Texas Roadhouse, and finished the day at the water park at the Kroc Center and got ICEES on the way home.  What a day.  I LOVE days like that!

We were all wiped out from having so much fun.  I wish life was all play and no work sometimes!!!  Okay, maybe all the time.  Play all day, sleep, play all day, sleep...I like that routine.

And thank you to my hard working husband who makes ALLLLL of it possible.  Thank you, Money Bags!

(Dad, you will always be the ORIGINAL Money Bags!!!!  Money Bags is a VERY VERY special term of endearment we call my Dad.  It started 25 years ago when my 7 year old little brother was at an arcade and asked my Dad for some quarters and called him "Money Bags".  It stuck!)
