The Best Day of the Year

My 4 Blessings - Mother's Day 2009

It's tough being spoiled when you're usually the one doing the spoiling but someone's gotta do it and it might as well be me! I first spoiled myself by treating myself to a night out with my angel Mom. There is nothing else I'd rather do. Ben looked exceptionally handsome that night too. The love we all shared was stronger than the garlic.Yes, I am a dork and I am proud! I posed and danced to the Greek music.

I woke up to numerous homemade gifts, poems, and coupon books. I'd rather have a homemade gift than diamonds. They make my soul SPARKLE so bright, I melt!
by Alyssa, age 5

And Sarah, who is destined to be the next Martha Stewart (poor thing deserves a Mom who is as talented as her!), was determined to cut up our chia pet herb garden basil plant and make me homemade pesto for dinner. I loved it.
So to all the moms who love, learn, laugh, give, and receive so much back...Happy Mother's Day to you and me! Moms are the best.

I love your pink dress in the first picture! I almost bought that same dress last month. Do you have a Downeast there in Spokane?

If dancing to the music makes you a dork then I say....BE a dork! I love it! I soooo wish you lived closer. Miss you!

I love your curly hair in the top pic. Do you do it curly much or are you a slave to the hairdryer like I am? = ) Happy mother's day to you - a FABULOUS mom.
