I wasn't safe going with the little kids!

Ava kept saying, "I want the BIG bumps! Faster, faster!!!"

This girl is a speed demon.

Dad is always the driver. So I bribed him with a 20 minute back scratch, a lot of begging and pleading, and more begging and pleading, and convinced him to get on the tube! He FINALLY gave in... and guess what? He wouldn't get off he was having so much fun! He must have
ridden the tube for 45 minutes with several different batches of people!

When I rode with him, it was such a wild ride that the next few days my neck and biceps were sore from hanging on for dear life. He kept taunting the driver (son-in-law Paul) with things like, "Is that all you've got?!" He'd stick his
tongue at him and wave his fingers with his thumb on his nose. We were in trouble.
I laughed so hard my cheeks and stomach muscles hurt.

We drove to our favorite wild
thimbleberry (raspberry) patch. Sarah climbed the car to get the best view of the pickings. She said over and over, "I have the coolest Mom in the whole world!" Awww.

Sister Pam and I swimming with the kiddos. Geesh, I love this girl!!!!

Wild raspberries Sarah found hanging into our swimming lagoon. It's like the Garden of Eden in the summertime.

After a day like this you feel on top of the world! Thank you, Mom and Dad!

How fun! And what great action shots.
Leah,
I laughed SO hard at the great pictures: Allysa's hair flying staight up, everyone's facial expressions, Sarah jumping in the water. What a great camera you have. And I'm SO glad you got Dad in the water. Did anyone get dumped? I noticed you had your sunglasses on in the water. You must have been pretty sure you were staying on that tube. Your kids are so courageous! What fun. I wish I could have been there.
I have GOT to come up in summer and beg your parents let me come play on the lake too. Holy cow that's beautiful and fun....perfection!
And BTW Sarah is right...she does have the coolest mom ever!!!
Love the swim suit too.
Hmmm....we still have 4 weeks. We should just hop in the car and come up!
