Ava's Masterpiece got the "Springfabulous" award
(Yes, I felt as sick as I looked...)
Chad's busted out the power tools and got the "Braid-o-licious" Award
We'll definitely be doing this again.

My fairy godmother and fairy godfather stopped by (aka Mom and Dad). They knew I had been sick so while I was out driving kids around they stopped by and did all my laundry, scrubbed bathrooms, vacuumed the whole house, the garage, made dinner, etc. etc. I wish I had pictures of that beautiful sight! Watching my Dad push a vacuum around and my mom do her thing is so touching. Makes my heart melt.
Meanwhile, Russ has a job interview in Houston in a couple weeks. It would be a total career change into software sales. They may let us stay here. Maybe have to move. We'll see. I don't know anyone from Houston. I'd love to talk to someone that is raising a family there!!! Anyone have any Houston connections???

Leah, I love you! You are such a fun mom, even when you aren't feeling well!
Right about the time we moved here to Phoenix, several of our friends moved to different parts of Texas and have all absolutely loved it there! Shane has an aunt and uncle in Houston and a cousin or two of Shane's are raising families there.
Ahhh...Leah :-( I'm so sorry you've been so sick for so long. I'm glad your parents came and did some service for you. I'd do it if I was closer! Hope you stay well for a long time and good luck to Russ. I hope you find something that works for your family.
Sorry you've been so sick...I didn't know.
We lived in Houston for about 5 1/2years before we moved to Spokane and still know many people raising their families there and in the surrounding suburbs.
Let me know if I can help.
You crack me up.. sick as can be and still having fun!! :) You make being sick look like a breeze!! What great parents you have as well.. anyhoo.. know a few families in Houston too!! Lots of resources.. :)
I have lots of Dallas connections, but no Houston! :) Best wishes for your recovery!!!
Leah, I'm glad you're better! I may have to pretend sick so I can get my hair brushed...The east coast is great! We live by Miami so it has a very South American vibe which is fun because everything sounds more fantastic in Spanish or Portuguese. There are only 5 LDS kids in the elementary school of 1200, but our ward has a lot of nice youth. The sunshine is fabulous and there's a lot to do and see. Good luck to Russ in his hunting! We'll be thinking about you.
You are so nice to let your kids do that to you while you are sick. I just lock my door and hide under the covers.
Seriously I want your parents to adopt me.
Best of luck with the Houston thing...I so hope you can stay.
