I love my Sugar Daddy...

Ava running during sunset on Alki Beach, West Seattle

So my kids ate ice cream for breakfast. It's been one of those mornings because Russ is gone and I have a "stayed up too late" (as in 2:30 or 3am) hangover this morning. It's so hard to go to bed when he's not home!

Just got back from Seattle. Everything is more fun when it's free! Russ had a business trip so we totally mooched off of his hotel room and partayed! And in true Sugar Daddy style, he got us a free upgrade and we were in the biggest/best hotel room of my lifetime.

Russ flew, so I drove back and forth by myself with 4 chillins. Yes, I am tough like that! I'm willing to put up with 11 hours of fighting, whining, crying, and screaming for a couple days of fun. There is a price to pay for bliss like this: And to vacation Leah style, you go to TripAdviser.com and look up "things to do" and party all day. You can sit around and read books at home. Vacation is time to explore and have a fun adventure every day. Coming home exhausted is the best feeling in the world.

Memorable Seattle Vacay Moments:

#1. Chad seeing a group of seven 13 year old girls in bikinis at the pool. He couldn't think straight! He was trying to act cool with an intensely mellow swagger. Sarah even caught him kissing his muscles. I didn't recognize the guy! It was almost like he was doing a mating dance or something. And my mother bear instincts were on FULL alert because those girls were daring each other to do things and go up to him and say stuff. Let's just say I had a chat with them.

#2. Chad's amazing brain. At the Museum of Flight, Chad whipped out the name of most planes without looking at the info plaques! I was in awe! There were hundreds dating all the way back to the beginning of flight. The girls felt tortured to be there, while Chad kept exclaiming, "This is a dream come true!"Air Force One
Chad REALLY truly wants to be President some day. He has it all planned out. So it was only fitting that he chose to exit Air Force One striking a Nixon pose.

#3. Kids raiding the maid's cart. It was like a pinata broke open or something! They got caught, but the maid said they could keep their loot.

#4. Asking 3 yr old Ava if she had her seatbelt on. She rolled her eyes, sassily swung her head and shoulders back and forth, and sung, "Du-uu-uh!" (OUCH! I suspect some teeny bopper TV is to blame.) I guess I was supposed to interpret that as a yes!

#5. Realizing that no matter how fun all of the attractions are...
... NOTHING beats a day at the beach!

Leah! Chad is turning in to a little man! Oh my gosh! I'm dying. You look way hot for a mama of 4 that doesn't work out. I'm so in awe. You're one hot mama! Looks like so much fun. Loved the update. Take care and love ya!

Stephanie, I do work out. Just like 2 to 4 times a week on the treadmill though, so I'm not like a die hard marathon runner. There was a period where I wouldn't work out very often...but I thought keeping up with the kids was a work out by itself! All those bike rides, tennis, walks, jumping on the trampoline, and underdogs count!
